Privacy Policy

The Short Version

BreathFlow is a fully offline breathing exercise app. Everything happens on your device. We have no servers to send data to, and we have no interest in your personal information.

Data We Do Not Collect

BreathFlow does not collect any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)
• Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, IP address)
• Location data (GPS or network-based)
• Health or biometric data
• Usage analytics or behavioral telemetry
• Crash reports sent to external services
• Photos, microphone access, or camera data
• Contacts or calendar information

The app does not require any account creation. There is no sign-in, no registration, and no profile.

App Permissions

BreathFlow requests the minimum permissions necessary to function. On Android, the app may request:

• Vibration — used optionally to provide haptic feedback during breathing phases. No data is collected or transmitted.
• Keep Screen On (Wake Lock) — used to prevent the screen from dimming during an active breathing session. No data is collected or transmitted.

No sensitive permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage) are requested.

Local Storage

BreathFlow may save your preferences (such as your last-used breathing pattern or session duration) locally on your device using the operating system's standard local storage mechanism.

This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is never transmitted over the internet
• Is not accessible to AlkanIO Labs or any third party
• Can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in your device settings

Third-Party Services

BreathFlow does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or marketing services.

There are no SDKs from the following (or similar) platforms embedded in the app:

• Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics
• Facebook SDK / Meta Audience Network
• AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, or other attribution SDKs
• Crashlytics, Sentry, or remote crash reporting tools
• Any advertising or monetization network

Children's Privacy

BreathFlow is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal data from any user, we also do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country).

Parents and guardians can allow their children to use BreathFlow with confidence that no personal information is collected or shared.

Data Security

Since BreathFlow does not collect or transmit any personal data, there is no remote data storage to secure on our end. All app data remains on your device and is protected by the standard security mechanisms of your operating system (Android or iOS).

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations). Since BreathFlow does not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected any personal data, please contact us immediately at alkaniolabs@gmail.com and we will investigate and respond promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of BreathFlow after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If we ever change our data practices in a material way, we will notify users through the app or the app store listing.
